Love notes for you

Happy Self-Love, Self-Care Day

Turns out, falling in love with yourself is a key theme in my upcoming book, which makes today the perfect day to celebrate you.

Do you set aside time for yourself, even when life feels overwhelming? I used to say yes to everyone before I said yes to me. Now, my me time is non-negotiable.

Have you ever taken yourself on a date? Sat in a café, people-watched, gone on a solo walk or hike, taken a body movement class or registered for a program to sharpen or learn a new skill?

Be audaciously authentic. Be you—the one who welcomes dream states to percolate between dark and sunny thoughts. We are beacons of light—if we choose to follow.

Right now, if you’re anything like me, either you or someone you love has been through difficult times. It’s powerful to look back and see how far we’ve come. And yet, my heart aches for the things I can’t control—no matter how many silent prayers I offer or how much advice I give.

If you want more love in your life—whether in business, friendship, or romance—start by prioritizing you. Loving yourself is the key to letting love bloom.

For love is transient, profound, thorny and beautiful. Even if there’s pain or something dulls its brilliance, there’s an energy in love that tends to remain.

We can’t change the past, but we can shift our mindless thoughts into the present moment to shape a brighter future. And while I don’t know what’s best for you, I feel confident in knowing this: only you can guide yourself.

No matter the day, caring for yourself is the foundation for meeting your physical and emotional needs. just like the quality of our breath, heavy or light, love can be complex and simple in the same relationship.

Life requires self-control and self-reliance.

When you stretch your body in any way that works for you, you become more flexible in your mind.

Meditate by observing the inhalation and exhalation out of your nose to create focus, vitality and peace.

Prioritize sleep—rest is wisdom.

Move your body with ease and you can visualize too—walk, dance, or prance in a way that fuels you.

Nourish yourself with nutrient-dense, wholesome foods.

💖 And most importantly—take yourself on a date!

Make a reservation with yourself to enjoy  a solo café lunch, dinner, stroll, or a quiet moment just for you.

Self-love is your friend, and so am I.

You’ve got this, keep climbing, falling and getting back up.

Keep shining —this is The Radiant Woman’s Way.

May the love note sentiments offered on Valentine’s Day reverberate with heart-centeredness all year through.

Thanks for being fabulous you!

Love and Light

xoxo
