Our life’s dreams often lead us to unexpected relationships, especially the one we have with ourselves, for we are, I am, an omnipresent, ever-changing Being. As my publication date nears, my emotions are engulfing me.
Putting myself out there with all my to-dos, including preparing preordered books. This entire process of birthing something different from my past experiences has made me feeling elated and overwhelmed all in the same breath.
I’ve even had moments of cold feet—wondering, Maybe I won’t publish this after all. Maybe I’ll just keep it for close family, friends, or smaller circles.
But then I remember: if I do that, I miss the chance to share my voice with women I’ve yet to meet.
Like many of us, I’ve had the best intentions and said at some point, “One day, I’m going to solve this problem, invent that thing, find the time to begin, write, or finally finish a project like this book.” But so often, we don’t follow through.
That’s okay too—we’re all human, and the course of our lives often changes. But we can pivot, honor our heart’s intention and intuition, and try something new to increase our radiance when the time feels right. Giving ourselves grace is the most important part.
Ladies, in The Radiant Woman Shines book, not only do I share stories with prompts for you, but writing them has also helped me become a better communicator and more intentional for how I show up and interact with others.
My hope is that my yoga practices, lifestyle, and the passion projects I continue to explore serve as gentle reminders that we all have more in store for us—as we flow through life’s phases, discovering, evolving, and returning to what lights us up. They remind me, too, to stay curious, present, and open to what’s next.
Strength arrives in many channels, such as from wobbles, one breath, one foot at a time. Keep shining, my friend! When we play with the imperfect life instead of taking things so seriously, we lighten up—and the world feels our joy of strength, presence, and patience.
There’s magic in the wobbles—like when I hug one knee in while standing, then hinge forward, balancing on the standing leg, orbiting into Warrior III as the other leg reaches back.
It’s okay to fall. The ground and the sky are here to support us.
Keep playing with curiosity so joy churns to love. The Radiant Woman’s Way
Happy Mother’s Day to all who celebrated the women who have raised us—and if you’re a mom, a special round of applause to you.
To the moms here in spirit and those walking this earth, may their hearts and souls guide us through our breath awareness, so we can carry their love forward and share it with others.
To pet moms, grandmas, aunties, stepmoms, and earth mamas—we are intuitive beings, meant to shine from the heart.
May we encourage each other through our actions, words and silence to express ourselves in new and inventive ways because this is our gregarious, free-spirited nature.
The true source of love is self-love—getting to know ourselves through self-awareness, awakening our hidden talents, and honoring our flowing emotions.
Today like every day, please know you’re never alone.
Surround yourself with supportive communities and lean into the resources available to remind you: you are held.
You are a nurturer by nature, but don’t forget to include yourself in the care you give so freely.
Thank you for walking this journey with me.
Turns out, I just realized I have a special connection to the publication date on Wednesday May 14. My self publishing publisher always said, “your book comes out when it’s ready”.
I have more to share on that note which I’ll save for another time.
I appreciate you sticking around for this part of the finale.
“Dream until a dream comes true,” and then dream up something big or small again!
With love and friendship.
Step into your radiance today, The Radiant Woman’s Way.
