After the one day reserved to honor women and moms, I hope it felt reflective and revitalizing in some way. May the energy of your loved ones support you through signs of love and acceptance for what is or what was. I hope you have found solace and held high regard for where you have been and are now because of all women on some deep-rooted level, most importantly, acknowledging how your mom, my mom, and you have yearned to be respected and loved.
Do mothers know best? Though most women I know and observe attempt to act righteous as daughters, mothers, sisters, and mother figures, many may never have learned how to tend to their emotions.
Some women are confident and assertive, while others are gentle, timid, or insecure. The character traits we have come to identify with often rub off on our children. Of course, all is for interpretation as children grow and little girls become women.
I, for one, used to go on overdrive to serve others before myself.
👩🌬️ Once I began valuing self-love and instilling mindfulness into my daily routines, I realized that we can learn to pick ourselves up even when life feels challenging.
Without the life lessons we acquire from our moms, tour interactions with boys and men, or difficult situations, we won’t grow into the radiant women we are meant to be!
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all agree to disagree?
I believe in you! I see you. I love you and appreciate you.
I hope you had a Happy Mother’s Day; however, you celebrated or honored past generations!
To all pet moms, step-moms, mothers of the world, grandmoms, aunts, and sisters from one generation to another, sending love, light, and possibility your way!
