How to Shine Through Life’s Wobbles

It’s hard to believe the holidays are in full gear.

For some, it’s the most magical time of year…

Yet with all the glistening and gratitude, many of us are just doing our best to show up.

We’re either experiencing sadness and grief for what’s not in our control, or mourning the loss of a loved one or a relationship. Yet I was still surprised to hear more than one person say, “I can’t wait until the holidays are over,” and this was in November.

I thought to myself, what about the eager children? Can we not just hum along to “fa la la la la” and, in the process, be young at heart? Whether young or old, wouldn’t it be nice if we could learn from each other, be nostalgic, and be respectful of what one celebrates (or doesn’t)? This youthful spirit can make us more radiant and kind.

Allowing ourselves to be vulnerable amid calamities knowing change is on the horizon.

So my friend, even if we have to fake it until we make it happen, might we muster along, welcome the good cheer that comes just once a year, as a symbol of peace, love, joy, and the miracle of light.

For when we feel what’s real by placing value on accessing inner peace, not only might we raise our individual spirit, we elevate the human spirit—highlighting the beauty of our uniqueness while fostering a sense of respect for our differences and connections.

On the days and in the moments my heart feels tender or my head is stuck in heavy thoughts, returning to transformative sources—like energy healing, yoga, meditation and fitness classes along with interacting with other artists in my art mentorship program —has been a powerful way to spark my creativity, realign, and heal.

I’m grateful to have so many resource practices to help me shift, reset, and find my inner light again.

May this radiant reflection spark you to slow down, be still and sip in moments of joy.

By noticing the sweetness of someone’s kind gestures, words or gifts or how it feels after being acknowledged for your sincerity.

Making time to catch up with a friend or family member you haven’t spoken to in awhile.

And if life’s hustle has you feeling overwhelmed or if a moment arrives where your thoughts have fallen into the rubble, consider shifting the energy to change your state of mind by recentering your heart.

How to shine through life’s wobbles, cultivate balance, and reclaim our radiance

  • Open to the sounds of nature, silence or the gong/ chimes.
  • Candle gazing is a one-pointed focus meditation to help us see the flame in our mind’s eye.
  • Consider a Reiki session for energy healing— in person or online—to realign your mind, body, and spirit.

Let’s flow, commune, create, and join together to ignite our powerful presence! The Radiant Woman’s Way.

You’ve got this, my friend. One conscious breath at a time.

Keep going. Keep shining.
