Seasons of the Heart: Embracing Change with a Spritz of Joy

When I feel sweaty, hot, and bothered, I often call upon rose spray to the rescue. I keep one with me in my purse and others in my house. It’s an all-year-round boost that I spray on my face daily. A spritz goes a long way, giving me, and often others I share, a smile

If you’re cold in the AC or snow, imagine sitting by a fire and enjoying the warmth you reimagine. Perhaps it’s a blazing sun on an island getaway?

Today I awoke to a morning chill even though it’s officially still summer.

To take things further, I read a lot of books this summer, one I highly recommend if you or someone you know likes a winter nostalgia sweet romance; “The Christmas Cookie Conundrum”, and while it’s not even fall yet, if you feel compelled to, order yourself a pumpkin latte.

I know. It does feel harsh to rush summer away but we can’t change the curriculum’s circadian rhythm of seasons, patterns, and weather. The only thing we can do is harmonize with ourselves.

Whether you change your environment via vacationing or strolling in your neighborhood, any travel destination is a creation of your heart. You can simultaneously feel happy, sad, cold, hot, light, and heavy in your thoughts and lean into what you want in the present.

Sending lots of love and light your way!
